HistoryCase was established in 2006 and is the creation of British furniture pioneer's Paul Newman and Sheridan Coakley. Paul Newman has also been working in the furniture design industry for over twenty years. He started as a product designer, launching his first designs at the Salone de Mobile in 1988. The following year he opened his first retail store in London’s Notting Hill, Aero. In the following years Aero established itself as a retailer and manufacturer of fine quality design, supplying to the most renowned design retailers in Britain. More recently he formed the manufacturing company INK, which has also launched a series of successful designs to market. Newman is a well-respected expert in design, sourcing and advanced manufacturing techniques. Newman’s understanding of the international market and of manufacturing techniques worldwide gave Case a strong foundation from which to launch. In 2009 Sheridan Coakley decided to focus on SCP and Case has continued to flourish and in 2011 Case is excited to be working with major retailers such as John Lewis, Lane Crawford, Design Within Reach, Liberty's and Heals.

Mission
Case is dedicated to delivering excellent design at good value. Case brings first-rate design principles and advanced manufacturing techniques to an area of the furniture market more associated with imitation and mediocrity. Case promotes the notion that the best design should be available to the mass market and is capable of delivering large volume batch production, ideal for the larger retailer. Case has developed an extended network of trading partners that are able to manufacture and distribute on a global scale. This positions the Case brand at the vanguard of creativity and as a proactive company, able to deliver products with added value to a wide audience.
