British furniture pioneer, Case Furniture, is proud to announce the launch of its first ever showroom in Clapham Common, South London at this year’s London Design Festival.
The London based showroom will be the only place in the UK to showcase the entire Case collection and allow trade buyers and the general public to explore the full range of everyday iconic items that have become Case’s trademark.
Established in 2006, Case’s mission is to keep good design alive. It works exclusively with designers who have an implicit understanding of how to create products that are both innovative and iconic. Subsequently its first two collections received awards from Design Week, Grand Designs and Home & Gardens.
“After the success of our first two collections we wanted to open a showroom to present our works in one place, so they could be appreciated in full. This showroom is the ideal backdrop to do that and will be an opportunity for people to learn more about Case and the designers we work with.” Says Paul Newman, Director of Case Furniture.
Highlights include the new ‘Covet’ desk, a simple and elegant design by Japanese-born designer Shin Azumi. Matthew Hilton’s double award-winning ‘Cross’ extending dining table and his seminal ‘Bridge’ chair, table and armchair. Marina Bautier’s simple and versatile ‘Lap’ shelving unit and Nazanin Kamali’s award-winning ‘Omid’ table lamp will also form part of the display.
